At Eric Clapton's suggestion the Bee Gees moved to Miami early in 1975 to record Main Course at Criteria, and stayed. The Gibb, Galuten and Richardson team scored six Hot 100 number ones in the first six months of 1978; Andy Gibb's records and Spirits Having Flown were made here; Saturday Night Fever's Bee Gees tracks were cut in France and finished and mixed in this building. Criteria was described in 1978 as Florida's largest independent studio facility.
