The map, the reference pages, the PDF and the workbook are all generated from one data file, so the counts never disagree. Version 1.2.0, data version 2026.09.11, generated 2026-09-11, current through 11 September 2026.

What is in the data

236 nodes of 11 kinds: 63 venues, 53 persons, 46 artists, 23 studios, 13 records, 8 shops, 8 labels, 8 places, 6 eras, 4 rooms, 4 schools; each assigned to one of ten layers and, where an address is recorded, to North Miami, North Miami Beach, Miami Shores, Biscayne Park or unincorporated Miami-Dade by point in polygon, or to Elsewhere in Miami-Dade, or to the no address hub. 295 directed edges of 14 types: worked at, founded or owned, moved to, spawned, became, linked venture, produced or engineered, mentored, recorded at, mixed at, label, collaboration, adjacent, named in plan and suggested. Every node carries a confidence grade (High, Medium or Low), source ids, a status as of the cutoff date, a disclosure class (publicly verified or tax record only), a place year with its basis, and computed metrics: degree, distinct neighbours, betweenness on the full graph and betweenness on the people and production graph. People carry a relationship class: personnel connector, founding or core member or institutional connector. Records carry a significance and a credit scope. The venue finding (0 live music venues with booking evidence within 1.5 miles of the anchor; 57 elsewhere in the county) is computed from the same file and recomputed by formula in the workbook.

The source register holds 116 sources (25 database, 34 official, 42 press, 15 reference), cited by id beside claims in the reference, in the node entries and in the Sources column of the workbook.
