Joel Levy, a South Florida concert promoter from a real estate family, bought the studio from Emerman; sources give the sale as 1988 or 1991 and the map uses 1991. The studio stayed open through the 1990s (Coverdale Page overdubs, Marilyn Manson's first sessions, Air Miami) while Emerman attempted a comeback with the Albert brothers.
